CHARACTERS AND PEOPLE

  • Who is the main character in this short film?
  • Look carefully at the various people included in the final scene; who are they and why might the filmmaker have chosen to include them?

NARRATIVE

  • As you watch the film, try to follow the story. Would you be able to write a voice-over to explain what was happening?
  • Can you tell what ceremony the school children are taking part in?

SYMBOLISM/IMAGERY

  • Concentrate on the opening scenes - why has the filmmaker begun the film with these images?

SETTING
