On board a boat, Dora Schmidt is approached by a man. At the officers' mess later, she recognises this man to be the waiter and she reveals his secret. The man goes to the hideout of the invading force located a hardware shop. The force is disguised as Jewish tailors. They reveal a cannon in the hideout. Disguised as women, the men leave a boat and fall in on the quay next to a box marked as containing a car, which in fact conceals the cannon. The cannon is placed in a field and bombardment of Dora's house begins. A friend has arrived to visit Dora. He has brought a pigeon as a present. During the bombardment, the friend and the gardener return the enemy fire; the gardener and the friend are killed and wounded respectively. The enemy occupies the house but while they are out of the room, Dora sends the pigeon with a message for the territorials. The bird is shot down and the message retrieved, the territorials set off and effect the rout of the enemy. The leader of the invaders drags Dora to the hideout. They are followed by her friend and on arrival, the leader of the gang is apprehended.
