"Arrival of Mr Justice Avory, the Judge". The judge (in full regalia) alights from car and enters the court house.

"The Prisoners - Field and Gray". The two men enter the court house flanked by policemen - they are not clearly seen.

The witnesses - "Peggy Finlay and Dorothy Ducker, Barmaids at the Albemarle". MS of the pair.

"Stoker Putland". MS of the stoker in naval uniform.

"William Weller - the boy who found the body". With his mother on the steps to the court.
