Scenes at Trafalgar Day (21 October) celebrations in Castle Street, Liverpool at the base of Nelson's Monument. Various views of sailors and cadets on parade. Views also of the crowd. Arrival of a large party of dignitaries along pavement. The decorated base of Nelson's Monument. Lord Mayor addresses crowd from base of the Monument.

Celebrations for Trafalgar Day at Liverpool. Dignitaries, including mayor (wearing mayoral chain), addresses crowd from the base of Nelson Monument in Castle Street, Liverpool. The Monument is decorated with bunting and shields bearing the Union flag. A marching band passes camera position followed by British sailors (including a black sailor); boatmen carrying flags, naval cadets, more boatmen and a boy's marching band follow; more boy naval cadets another marching band and boy naval cadets, sailors and a group (twenty plus) of Indian men dressed in white tunics and trousers.
