With his unique, simple drawing style, with its angular shaped characters, and using no dialogue, Mark Baker reveals his acute sense of observation and subtle rendering of human psychology. In twelve minutes we see a man become a drunk, a man beat his wife, a bitter interfering old woman and two people for whom love conquers all.
