Synopsis

Warning: screenonline full synopses contain 'spoilers' which give away key plot points. Don't read on if you don't want to know the ending!

Working-class men and women stand in front of damaged houses and shops following a riot in which shops with German connections were wrecked and their contents thrown into the street. Policemen stand by and take no action. Rioters climb out of a window and down a ladder into the big crowd below as goods are thrown out of other windows.
