An impressionistic account of the attractions that Aberdeen and Deeside offer the summer visitor.

Show full synopsis

This was one of several local authority sponsored films produced and marketed by Films of Scotland and was intended to promote and sell Aberdeen as an exuberant and attractive summer destination. The seaside shots here fit the archetypal image of summer seaside pursuits in modern Britain. Even as far north as Aberdeen, families are keen to sunbathe on the sands during the summer months - or perhaps that is just the hardy locals!
