When a champion racehorse is stolen, Pimple comes to the rescue.

Show full synopsis

This very short fragment prefigures Pimple in The Whip (1917), another spoof of the immensely popular racing drama subgenre that was in vogue at this time and continued to be both prolific and popular through the 1920s. The format tended to be conventional and always involved someone trying to nobble the favourite for financial gain. Here, Pimple saves a Lord's horse from an evil Baron and wins the race.
