Show full synopsis

Celebrating the arrival of a modern fire engine for Paisley - a popular subject for filmmakers from the earliest days of cinema. The eccentric Firemaster Girdwood and his colleagues perform acrobatic stunts atop the new extension ladder in a fashion that today's safety conscious society would never permit. A film made for a local audience and screened by a local exhibitor in one of the town's cinemas.
