Synopsis

"Field day operations of the London Rifle Brigade now in training at - ". A unit of six soldiers rushes to a field gun and the divided parts of a machine gun in a field. Three of the soldiers stand by the field gun in the background. In the foreground, one soldier sets up the base of the machine gun, another helps set up the gun on the base. They take up firing positions. Charge of a large detachment of infantry with fixed bayonets, from a brow of a hill down to the camera, rushing headlong past the camera. Some of the soldiers lose their army caps in the process. Some also drop down, feigning wounds. Stretcher bearers rush on to the scene and help the 'wounded'.

Note: The London Rifle Brigade was a Territorial Battalion of The London Regiment - the 5th City of London (London Rifle Brigade) based at Bunhill Row.
