"NEW COLOURS FOR THE BELGIANS. Belgian soldiers march past and are presented with new colours, the ceremony taking place in one of the small towns of Western Flanders". Camera pans past wounded men, nurses and soldiers as they sit waiting for the ceremony to begin. Military and civil personnel stand on a platform listening to a speech by a local dignitary. Soldier holds the new colours, in the foreground a stills photographer records the presentation. Line of officers from different regiments stand in front of the platform. The soldier with the new colours stands in the middle. The soldiers march past.
