A concert is in progress and the audience is entertained with a rendering of 'Yes, We Have No Bananas'. Mr Tom Arto, listening in the second row, becomes so irritated by the song that he rushes from the hall. Attempting to escape the melody, he ventures into a night club, where he again hears the same song. In an effort to avoid the song he visits Spain, the Tyrolian mountains, Japan and Greenland, to no avail. Eventually, he is shipwrecked when taking a sea voyage and wakes up after his dream in a concert hall.
