Horse-drawn vehicles including omnibuses pass by Hyde Park Corner. View across Parliament Square with Big Ben tower in background showing traffic and pedestrians. View looking along Victoria Embankment with passengers disembarking from a pleasure steamer; another load of passengers embark. The Crimean War memorial in Waterloo Place with further traffic. Outside Charing Cross station, with traffic and pedestrians. View along Pall Mall with the National Gallery in the distance; horse-drawn traffic goes past. The Law Courts in the Strand (103). View down the Strand with much traffic and pedestrians (a lamp to the left bears the words 'Lyceum Pit'). Horse-drawn traffic at the Mappin and Webb building at Poultry. Scene outside Bank of England as traffic goes by.
