No main title. St Paul's Cathedral viewed from Ludgate Circus, buses and horse-drawn vehicle pass along the street. Same view from Fleet Street. High-angle shot of open-top buses passing market stalls in the rain. Hansom cab passes the Royal Courts of Justice. Traffic at Mansion House and Bank; policemen direct traffic. Close-up of sign on road: 'LOOK LEFT'. Montage of traffic scenes at Trafalgar Square. Road workers digging; workers fixing bricks in the road; a worker with a pick axe. Reverse action of pan from one end of street to another showing a fleet of buses. Traffic at Australia House at Aldwych and The Strand. "The show room of Great Portland Street are a sure magnet for the motorist", intertitle superimposed over Great Portland Street.
