The daughter of Roger Lloyd-Pack and granddaughter of Charles Lloyd-Pack, Emily Lloyd erupted on to the screen as the cheeky '50s teenager ('Up yer bum!' was her favoured riposte) in Wish You Were Here (d. David Leland, 1987), receiving a BAFTA nomination, but her subsequent career has been disappointing. She had roles in several US films, including In Country (US, d. Norman Jewison, 1989), opposite Bruce Willis, but problems interfered with her working for some time, though she returned to films in The Honeytrap (d. Michael Günther, 2001).
